Looks Like Rain is a phrase open to interpretation. To some, the darkening clouds inspire hope to the end of a long drought. To others, it’s a dreadful sign of an impending storm sure to leave destruction in its wake. Its interpretation is a matter of perspective shaped by circumstance. In the same way, each artist brings their own unique vision into their projects; whether that’s critiquing, memorializing, or expressing their experience of the world around them. At the end of the day, the clouds have gathered, the sky is shifting— and to each of them, in their own way, it looks like rain.
