Light Works is a photographic work addressing the problems of visual and mental overload in contemporary urban life, where constant motion and information makes it difficult to experience calm, reflective attention. The work provides a quieter visual space that makes room for reflection and connection through a series of grayscale film photographs that emphasize geometry, contrast, water, sunlight, and reflections as tools to slow perception and invite dialectic “grayscale” thinking.
