Ghost Buddy is a puzzle adventure-survival game with themes inspired by Dante’s Inferno in the Divine Comedy (Divina Comedia) written by Dante Alighieri. The game follows a lost child guided by a friendly ghost in an unrecognizable, warping haunted mansion. Each level that the child and ghost navigate was designed to represent each sin within the nine circles of Hell through environmental storytelling. The game's narrative mirrors the journey of Dante and Virgil through the Inferno but as an exploration of past generational traumas throughout the history of the mansion that now bleed through, turning the mansion into a literal Hell on Earth.
